Modus Operandi

Modus Operandi

I'm a trooper.

I am decidedly a [usually] traveling [usually] nude model with over three years of professional experience working for photographers [and other visual media artists] across the country, but I have been many other things, too: a certified ski instructor, a recreational scuba diver, a massage therapist, a rock climber, a yoga junkie.
I dabble in belly dance and flow arts, and once lived primitively in the mountains for six months straight doing intensive trail work and rocking power tools at elevations exceeding 13,000 feet above sea level [so, if you're worried that your concept may be physically demanding: I can hang].

Modeling aside, in my lifetime I have worked everywhere from NASA to Burning Man DPW.
I continually use these experiences to bring an element of depth, adaptability, and consciousness to my modeling work.

I am a challenge fetishist, a debonair dirtbag, an ex-academic, a feral cat, a paramour of Serendipity, a purveyor of Chaos.
My table manners are horrible and border on obscene.

I believe in candor [read that one twice], introspection, skepticism, compassion, goofiness, and universal self-respect, and I generally enjoy this whole Being Alive Thing.

Photographers and artists: please don't hesitate to challenge me!
The variety I encounter as a model [people, places, creative scenarios] is what keeps me hooked on this profession.
I do not just stand there [unless that's the idea].
I will subject myself to extreme discomfort [within the bounds of safety] in the name of a higher objective, I push my own limits, I take pride in being an inspiration to others and in taking inspiration myself.
There are a squillion photographers who would attest that I've invested myself in their plateaus and helped them break through to new creative ground. [Click the Testimony link for some examples.]
Summarily, much more goes into my end of each collaboration than a mere carcass. 8]

In my communications I am practical; in my plans I am extravagant.
In my work I am exhaustive; in my play I am cathartic.
